Location & Getting Here
Location of Pension Norika
Pension Norika is located right in the centre of Saalbach, so you can happily leave your car parked for the entire holiday.
Here’s the exact overview of how quickly you can reach the lifts and enjoy après-ski:
? Ski Lifts, Slopes & Ski Schools
You’re practically plugged straight into the Skicircus here:
• Schattberg X-press: Only approx. 250 metres away (about a 4-minute walk).
• Kohlmaisbahn: Also only approx. 450 metres away (about a 6-minute walk).
• Ski school & practice slope: Basically right outside the door, only approx. 50 metres away.
• Best of all: After a long day of skiing, with the right snow conditions, you can ski almost all the way back to our front door.
? Biking & Hiking in Summer
You’re also perfectly connected outside of ski season:
Bike trails: Right at the Schattberg X-press you’ll find the X-Line and the Bearly Legal-Line, while at the Kohlmais there’s the Learn to Ride Park as well as further trails for beginners and advanced riders.
Hiking & walking: Just across from the guesthouse, over the bridge, starts the Saalach Promenade – from there you can head straight onto the most beautiful hiking and cycling paths into the Glemmtal, no car needed.
? Restaurants, Bars & Nightlife
Since the guesthouse is right next to the pedestrian zone, you’re moments away from the heart of Saalbach’s nightlife:
• Bars & pubs: Just a few steps down the street. The popular UnderBar, for example, is only about 90 metres away.
• Restaurants: A wide selection of traditional guesthouses, pizzerias and restaurants can be found within a 1 to 5 minute walk.
So you practically stumble straight onto the slopes in the morning, and fall straight back into bed after après-ski in the evening.
